Lazy Days!
I wanted to be so excited and have a big party on Tuesday and say I am done with chemo yah! But since I am not sure if I am done can I say I am done. And if I am done and I didn't do something fun to say yah I am done did I miss my opportunity to celebrate being done with chemo. Anyway if you don't know what I am talking about Tuesday was my last day of chemo for round 6. I am not sure if I am done with chemo until I see Dr. Rado on the 25th with all the test results. I was kinda wanting to wait to post to say yah I am done and know hear is the next step but then I thought I can't wait two weeks to update. So here we are.
Last week I went to the church book store to get a book that a friend recomended but I couldn't find it and had to go to Barn and Noble to order it. Anyway while I was there I came acrossed a book that I have fallen in love with it is call "Accountable Kids". I hope I am not the only one but my kids seem really undisciplined lately and I have been a little lost at where I needed to change things. So I found this book and I can't wait to start this new program. The book gives you ideas on how to encourge your kids to be better kids more accountable I guess. I have ordered the kits that go with the book and I am just waiting until those come in to get started. Ryan is even so excited to get started we can see the benifits and we haven't even started. We are dying to get started.
It seems that once a start a round of chemo I am busy until my last shot a week and half later. I had my last shot yesterday. Today was a day I didn't have to go anywhere or do anything. It has been so nice to feel good and not have to do anything or be anywhere. So the kids and I have been hanging out watching movies from when they were little and doing little projects. All while I try and update my blog and get all caught up on my emails. It seems like I don't even have time to get on the computer other than to read an email quick or check a blog quick. So did I already say I can't wait to get back into a routine.

I can't wait to hear the news on the 25th. Hope it IS your last round.
I think everyone is feeling crazy with kids right now. I think it is a combo of built up energy and no where to release it.
Thanks for the book recommendation, maybe I'll look into it too.
Congrats on having a normal day and to feeling great. I hope this was your last round of chemo, and you can start to move forward.

Hooray for your (hopefully) last day of Chemo! Can't wait for the 25th either!
I'm excited to hear how this book works for your family, and all the great tips that you will pass along. Okay, yes, I'm begging for good tips. I also agree with Heather. The kids are so crazy right now, they just need a good dose of spring!
The 25th/ 2+5=7 God's number. Your in his hands exactly where you want to be. Your amazing.
So maybe we'll celebrate on the 26th instead...can't wait for the news!
The book sounds really interesting. I may have to check that out myself. Keep us posted!
Yah! I hope it's your last round of chemo. You've done so well.
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one going crazy with my kids. I think I'm going to get that book. I think it will be like potty training (until mom's committed it ain't gonna happen)Your a lot more of a committer than I am. I could learn a lot from you if I lived closer:) I love you so much.
I look forward to hearing the news, as well. I can understand how you want to just be done with it all and know right now for sure that you are done. I hope you are done! Let us know how that book goes... I'll probably pick up a copy. I can't wait for warmer, less windy weather!
Hooray! I'm so glad that you are getting a break right now. You so deserve it. I think the the adults and the kids are all feeling stir-crazy and cabin fever right now. We have been teaching Boundaries for Kids at my church. I'm for anything that helps. I'm so ready for spring. We are all pulling for good doctor news for you!

You looked great this morning! I can see the relief in your eyes! I can't wait to hear on the 25th! You are amazing! "This too will pass"
Thought you'd like to know...since Ryan picked up Kamden.....
Kamden spilt a glass of water on her lap today during snack. She was so disappointed! We quickly and quietly got a pair of spare pants and threw her pants in the dryer! She was a good sport and in no time the pants were dry!
Wow! I love your new slide show. What beautiful kids!!!
Happy Valentines' Day!
Love,
Teacher Kathy
I can't wait to hear the news later this month. I will be praying for you!
After the weekend I've had, I am totally going to check out that book. Thanks for the recommendation, and it totally sounds like it will go right along with Love and Logic. At least I hope it will.
