May Kamden always remember that her mom fought harder to stay longer because she loves her little girl so much and didn't want to miss her special birthday day! Though we are all sad to see Rochelle go, I'm sure those on the other side are gathered around, anxiously awaiting her grand arrival! We are so blessed to know that this is not the end, there is much ahead and FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!

My heart is full of mixed emotions. I pray for Heavenly Father to allow her to return home in peace. My continued prayers for Ryan and their children. Ryan you've been such a wonderful husband, the way you supported Rochelle and the way you both continued to be such loving parents enjoying precious moments together. I pray for comfort for Rochelle and family. I pray for peace to all of us who are left behind on earth, as we will have and feel a void in our lives. I pray that we all strive to do our part to help others, allow the legacy of Rochelle to live on through all our good deeds.

God be with you till we meet again!

my heart is hurting. My prayers are with Ryan and family. I wish I could have known Rachelle. From reading her blog and your posts, she sounds like a wonderful woman and mother. May the Comforter be with you all at this spiritual and emotional time.

I can't help but think of the 3rd verse of Be Still, My Soul-

Be still, my soul:
The hour is hast'ning on,
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul:
When change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family!

Love,

I feel like I might be saying so much that most of you already know. Rochelle is such an example of what it means to persevere until the very end. Rochelle is such a beautiful and kind person and I will always remember the friendship she gave me as a new convert way back in 4th ward and the friend she was to me as the dorky new kid at KHS. I was so excited when I ran into her in May and I was so impressed with how she was doing, I actually thought she had won this war.
I am incredibly sad for all that she has had to go through and I pray that she can soon be at peace. My heart aches to see my friend leave this earth at such a young age and with so much more to experience with her family. But I know God must have a mission for her to go to. Rochelle you will be sorely missed, by so many you have touched throughout your life. May you be with God until we all can meet again!!

I have had Rochelle in my thoughts so much these past weeks. I have even started dreaming about her. I love her so much. My heart breaks for Ryan and the kids. One thing that has brought me peace is the image of Rochelle up in the spirit world busy and happily going about teaching those in spirit prison the gospel. I know the Lord has big plans for her!

Happy birthday Kamden!

All I have been able to think about these past two weeks is Rochelle and her family... It is so hard to understand why this is all happening to such a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. God bless you, my friend. May you and your family find peace and comfort, during these final moments. I will never forgot you or your fighting spirit... Hugs to you all.

Your friend, Amy Ayres

I have so many memories of Rochelle. We grew up playing together and I don't remember a time in my life when I didn't know her. As I have watched her go through this fight for so many years, I was and am continually amazed at her wonderful self! Even with this horrible disease, she put everyone else first. What an awesome example of a Godly wife, mother, sister, daughter & friend! I will truly miss her. She has helped change my view of what it means to love fully! God Bless her!! Love to all of her precious family! Love, Suzanne Pock (Brandt)

I began following this blog after my daughters volleyball team wore breast cancer awareness shirts to one of their games. My daughter was very upset because Rochelle's name wasn't included on the shirts, the day they got the shirts they also learned of Rochelle's condition. My daughter is a classmate of Cole. She was upset to the point she made her own breast cancer awareness shirt and wore it to school for the breast cancer awareness day at school, on this shirt was Rochelle Bassett's name. We then learned of this blog, and have been following it regularly since. Although I never met her, I can see she was an amazingly strong woman, as is the rest of you, her family. I love that you continued posting her journey even through the end, I love how you made sure the kids special days and events didn't get pushed aside. We are so sorry for your loss, and I am sorry that the end of her journey was so rough. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers as you begin to heal from this journey and your loss of a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister. Even though we never met her or most members of her family, you all have touched our lives and inspired us as a mother, daughter, and sister. I thank you all for that.
