Pay it forward

Rochelle had tears today when Ryan was talking about her their first and last date, both at Dairy Queen.

Rochelle asked to see her kids tonight. They each came in and told her about their days and Ryan sat behind Rochelle holding her up and helped her to wrap her arms around each kid and give them a hug.

I lost it tonight when I came into the bedroom and Ryan said Rochelle had a sad face, and NO ONE should have to suffer like this. Especially Rochelle who is such a great person and would serve and do anything even for a stranger. Rochelle loves her friends and family so much, and has helped so many people. Even with cancer and going through surgeries and chemo she was still taking care of so many people. I know Rochelle would approve of this, I want to encourage everyone to do service for someone. Honestly Rochelle does not need anything at this time, but so many other people do. Please, carry on Rochelle's service attitude. Rochelle's attitude towards service is don't ask, just do it.

Alma 40:12
And then shall it come to pass, that the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.

This scripture brings me peace, and I look forward to the day Rochelle will be in paradise, and rest from all troubles, care, and sorrow.

If heaven is better than what I've heard about it then I am certain you will fit right in. A place to be forever young and never in pain. God holds you tight with his love Rochelle.

Please let RO know that we have and continue to follow her example on serving others. We were so touched by the example Rochelle set for us bringing us dinners while going through chemo, that we payed it forward and followed her example and brought dinners over to our old neighbors when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Again we will never forget when RO would just show up with dinner.....she was even so sneaky that she would find a way inside our house and we would come home and find food on our counter top. Thats when we learned that Ro is going to do what she wants to do. We really enjoyed her dinners, so when we had the opportunity to make someone feel special as Rochelle made us feel we jumped on it and continued to feed our neighbor and her children every week while she was going through Chemo. After doing this service I was finally able to see why Rochelle continued to do it. What wonderful blessings we received from Heavenly Father for the small act of kindness.

Thank you Rochelle for setting the perfect example! You continue to be a great example to us and many many people.

We love you and your entire family and continue to add your family into our daily family prayers.

Special thank you to all the sisters, family and friends that continue to keep us updated on the blog.

Love Dale & Heidi Wilson

My Rochelle,

even if it has past 20 years we havent been able to meet, I will never forget our beautiful time together in 1991 while staying at your house with the hole Schultzs family. Even back then I found out, what a beautiful family your were. You took me as the sevens daughter and sister and I loved it, for I was the oldest ;-)
When you came with me to visit germany and croatia, we again had a great time. We always wanted to meet again. Even if we didnt, we shared our lives with letters, card and pictures. I feel like we have always been close and right in the neighborhood. Just now I feel sorry for beeing so far away not being able to come over and hug you.
You deserve this beautiul husband which cares so much, you can tell on the most beautiful family pictures you shared. And your kids are beautiful and gorgeous, too. They aspecially are in my thoughts. I will always feel like a part of your family and we will meet again, whereever.

Love you so much and hope there wont be much more suffering, for you really dont deserve it. Stay strong as you always where. With lots of love from Frankfurt,

Yours Klaudija

Rochelle, you not only serve others but you do it happily. I will always remember the times we invaded Bassett island and what great care you took of us. You were barely sitting down before you would jump out of your chair to get Brian a chair, keep the snacks rotated and making sure everyone got a hamburger.....and mustard and ketchup...:):) it's more than the service you gave....you make people feel special.

It is an understatement to say that Rochelle has truly been sent here from God. She has served so many people - I have enjoyed reading others comments about all the service she has provided and the joy she has given to so many people. She made you feel as if you were the most special person on earth and that she was there to help you be happy and to reach your potential. I have always loved her smiling face and her positive attitude. Lots of love, Pam Anderson

I have been serving as Compassionate Service Leader and when I would send out an email for help Rochelle was always one of the first to respond. I always thought to myself, WOW, the one who needs service right now is always the first to give it, always brought tears to my eyes. When I read my emails I always smiled when I saw her name. True inspiration.
