PET SCAN RESULTS

Well, I guess I forgot to tell you I enrolled Cole at Ruth Livingston. He will start on Monday. I can't remember the name of the teacher they gave him. It wasn't the teacher from Maya and it wasn't the male teacher. That is all I can remember. I seem to have a hard time remember things lately. I hope that doesn't last forever or get worse because it is driving me nuts.

I want to say thanks again for all the comments this is so fun hearing from everyone.

I also wanted to let you know that our ward is doing a ward fast and anyone else who would like to join in this Sunday it would be greatly appreciated.

I know a few of you wanted to know about a bank account and that is being set up tomorrow. We tried today but there were some kinks. So I will let you know hopefully tomorrow when I hear where it is at and the name.

Today was an adventure. I was pulled over this morning for speeding. My kids didn't understand because I have never been pulled over with them in the car. I had to explain that I was breaking the law and speeding and it was my fault. That was not so fun. I have to pay closer attention to the speed.

So then of course I had my doctors appointment with Dr. Kris today. When we got in to see him he said the PET SCAN results where there. So we went over those because I couldn't understand what they said at all. He told me it has spread to my spin (bones) about 5- 7 places in my back my lower back, bottom, liver, lymphnoids in my chest, arms and neck and of course my breast. So he said what happens is that the tumor in my breast has broken apart and traveled through my lympnoids to other places in my body and started new colonies. He said about 20 different places in my body. He said that the way it is growing it proably started in Feb or March. He said in the 1 and a half that the cancer has doubled. So he said they will probably hit the chemo hard and start right away. He doesn't know he was geussing. We are hoping Dr. Rado will start that tomorrow. We see Dr. Rado at 10am tomorrow.

I maybe needing help after all and more than I had orignally thought. So I will let all of you who have so kindly volunteer know soon what you can do to help. Thanks!!

Thanks again for the comments and words of encourgement. Oh, and all the veggies THANK YOU!

Hey Rochelle,
I have wanted to leave comments, but I am not so sure what to say. I want you to know that I have always been amazed at your spirituality. I have always enjoyed your lessons in RS and your comments. You definitely have the spirit with you very strongly. I know that with your incredible faith you can make it through about anything. Even though I don't know you that well, I truly do love you. My family and I are continually praying for you. I am more than willing to do whatever is needed to help you get through this! Continually stay positive and know that your Heavenly Father loves you.

Absolutely take us up on our offers of help. Please let me know anything I can do that would be of any sort of help to you and your family.

My heart is hurting for you. But I do believe that miracles can and do happen. Our ward is participating in the fast this weekend. There will be many faithful prayers making their way up to heaven in your behalf.

Rochelle, I am just in tears. I cannot believe this. I think about you constantly and want to do whatever I possibly can to help.

I know Brother Edgely was speaking to our ward during his conference talk Saturday morning when he spoke about ward families responsibilities to bear one another's burdens and comfort those that stand in need of comfort. This is what ward families are for. We're here for you. I feel such a tremendous desire to help you where I can and I hope you know how much I love you and your family. We will definitely do our part as your ward and as your friends. Much love to you!!

Rochelle!

I cried on and off all day yesterday. I want you to remember what I told you about no tuition for Kamden!!! I hope there is a way for her to keep on coming to preschool. I can pick her up. She is doing so well this year with the work and the social part! She is a beautiful, strong and intelligent person like you! I have a friend that was diagnosed with cancer all throughout her body three years ago and is still strong and fighting! This is your battle and you can do it!! We are here to help with your children! We will make sure they are getting lots of hugs and food! You know us Mormons....food is comfort to us!!!! I pray for you continually...you are in my thoughts always. I picked up a breast cancer angel pin for Kamden. I'll pin it to her coat!

I love you Rochelle....You are strong!

Love,
Kristen Hatch

Rochelle,
I can't believe your latest news! I just wanted you to know that we all love you so much and I want to help out in any way possible!

Well that sucks.

BUT, you can do this and we will help! I would love to make Kamden part of my preschool routine and have no problem picking her up and bringing her home. Hannah would love it! As for anything else you might need, please count on us to do whatever you want. Our love for you is fierce and strong, just like your will to beat this and with everyone pulling for you, miracles will happen. Stay strong, my prayers are with you.

So my kids saw me get a bit emotional after our mornings prayers. Of course this put all of us into tears. I just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I will be fasting on Sun even though I will be at work. You have had many offers and I am making myself availiable also. Anything you need please call. I appreciate all the updates and I know this is going to be hard, but you can do it!!! You have so much inner strength and when it is hard you have the strength of others, so use us all. I love you and will be checking in daily to see how you are doing. Thankyou!

Rochelle,
Thank you for doing this blog. I just heard and I am so grateful to be able to keep up to date. Please know that the word is out in 8th ward to join in the fast on Sunday. I am reaching around my monitor to give you a "cyberhug" of love and support.

Now is the time to lean on everyone. I was so thrilled to read that you would be needing our help after all! I am sitting by my phone. When we cannot stand on our own, we have to lean on those around us who love us and will help keep us up, like a crutch. And more importantly, Heavenly Father. I love that "Footprints" poem about the guy walking on the beach and there are two sets of footprints, his and the Lords, and during a stormy night there was only one set of footprints and the man thought the Lord had abandoned him in his time of need but the Lord said "it was then that I carried you." This gets me through a lot!

I know I put this on my blog the other day, but every time I think about you (which is all the time now) this verse pops into my mind again and again.

The 3rd verse from How Firm a Foundation:

"Fear not, I am with thee
Oh be not dismayed
For I am thy God
and will still give thee aid
I'll strengthen thee, help thee
and cause thee to stand
upheld by my righteous omnipotent hand."

I love Alicia's comment. When you are feeling like you can't stand anymore, lean on the Lord, and those who love and care for you. We're all here for WHATEVER you need.

Rochelle,
We will also fast for you this Sunday. You have continually been in my prayers as well as your family. I am not only emotional about your trial, but I also can't believe the wonderful outpouring of love and prayers and help on your behalf. That is the pure love of Christ at work. We also have a woman in our ward who had breast cancer which spread through out her body and she is still doing well and has experienced many sacred blessings from Heavenly Father during her trial. If anyone can do this, YOU can!
Much love,
Megan Stevens

Rochelle,

This couldn't happen to a nicer person. What I mean by that is you are such a sweetheart, and it shouldn't be happening to you! I only know you from afar, and I was looking forward to getting to know you through MCP! I know you'll be okay through this... You've got all of the tri-cities and beyond fasting and praying for you. I wonder how many times your name has been put in multiple temples by now. I have a testimony that fasting and praying works. I've seen miracles in my own life, especially with my own child. I know Heavenly Father has a plan for you and He knows what He's doing. These are all just words, but I mean them.

God Bless You and your little family, Rochelle.

Rochelle,
You are such an inspiration to me. The way that you are handling the news you get each day with such a positive outlook is amazing. I hope that when the time comes for me to wade through tribulations, that I may follow your example and do so with the grace and composure that you exhibit.

Also, I really appreciated your help with my kids as we made our way to the car a few Sundays ago. I had no idea what you were battling in your own life, yet you didn't seem to give any thought to it and reached out to help me.

Michael and I really enjoyed your testimony on Sunday. We love you and your family so much. You are in our prayers daily, and we are here to help, as well. Miracles can happen, and we are praying fervently on your behalf!
